Summary
During this assignment I learned that I really like landscape photography and how it captures so much of nature in one picture. It also shows from someone's point of view and how we see nature but in a more purified way.

Summary
For this assignment I learned how to choose a good subject to show up close. I really wanted to show a bit of texture and things with a lot of detail. During this assignment I learned that sometimes you have to use the flash to get the texture to show when you're so close to the subject. Sometimes when you're that close it can cast a shadow of the camera onto the subject. I also learned that to make the photo interesting you have to find a subject that would be interesting up close. Description For this assignment we had to pick a category to take pictures of, and I chose people. Within the category you choose you had to incorporate different techniques we learned about. So in these photos I tried to use depth of fields, rule of thirds and incorporating nature and color.
Editing For editing all I did was crop the top and sides a little bit. Summary
For this assignment I really wanted to capture my subject in nature and while being themselves. I learned that it is best to explore the different angles of lighting and change the direction your subject is standing in the light. Its also good to get the subject looking in different directions to have their focus away from the camera. Assignment description For this assignment, we had to use a photo that was taken right from the camera, and we had to use photoshop to retouch the photo to get rid of what wasn't needed, and to focus in on the subject, the car. Within photoshop we had to use the crop tool, the stamp tool, the selection tool, and the paint brush tool. What I Learned
During this assignment I learned how to navigate photoshop better. Within photoshop I learned how to use the stamp tool to cover up little imperfections in the image. I also learned how to use the selection tool to select a piece of the image to either only change that part, or to change something around it. The last thing I learned how to use in photoshop is the paint brush tool and how I can use it to cover a large space of area with one color. I also used the eraser tool to erase things I may have covered up on accident. For my second assignment I hope to take photos of people. Within shooting people I want to capture them outdoors and in nature. I really want to play with colors and how they will make the subject look. I also hope to play with rule of thirds, depth of field, and possibly lines. Here are some of the photos I will use as my inspiration.

It depends on how the building is structured of where it will look the best from. Some buildings might look when the perspective of it is looking upwards at it, or maybe from the side. The building might even look the best when it is just a specific piece or part of the building. |
